The end 28 of the plunger may alternatively seal against a flat surface (72 or 73, Figs. 7 and 8, not shown). Instead of a resilient 0-ring 36 or 0-rings, the head 26 may have sealing discs (40, 42, Fig. 5, not shown). Alternative means (116, 118, Fig. 9, not shown) may be provided for gripping the vessel against which the plunger is sealed. |
