<p>1299339 Unpacking machines SCHWEIZERISCHE ALUMINIUM AG 23 Nov 1971 [3 Dec 1970] 54456/71 Heading B8C Cylindrical containers 7 interconnected by facing pairs of shrunk bands 9, 10 and 11, 13 welded at points 20, are separated by a device comprising a slide 12 insertable between adjacent containers to partially separate those containers so that one of two heated wires 14 may sever top and bottom front bands 10, 13 behind the foremost container, and a pusher to laterally displace the freed container on to a conveyer 44. A suction device 38 draws off loose bands. Both wires 14 are heated to sever the bands on each side of the weld 20 preceding the final container.</p> |
