LASTING MACHINE AND METHOD OF LASTING WITH LATEX ADHESIVE

The machine for adhesive bonding of the shoe uppers on the inner sole has adhesive material supply system which ensures that an excessive amount of solvent is prevented from entering the bonding area. Sufficient adhesive is supplied to ensure a durable bonding. The edge of the uppers is held between two rollers (16, 18) and a latex adhesive is supplied on one roller by a nozzle (36). This roller has grooves and the adhesive enters these grooves for providing uniform deposit of adhesive on the uppers. A stream of hot air is directed on the adhesive which enters the grooves by a blowing nozzle (60). A rotating roller (20) presses the upper edge against the sole edge.
