<p>PURPOSE:To enable a dry cell to be disintegrated completely without spilling the contents by disposing the dry cell thrown between bilateral vertical-type rolls so that the dry cell may be deformed to be disintegrated by a rotary squeezing pressure of the rolls. CONSTITUTION:A dry cell 4 thrown vertically through a chute 5 enters from the upside between unidirectionally rotating vertical-type rolls 7(1), 7(2) driven by power 8, and moves downward between the roll axes 7a, 7b while rotating in a direction opposite to the rotating direction of rolls by coming into contact with rolls 7(1), 7(2). Since both of the verticaltype rolls 7(1), 7(2) are tapered off upward, a gap between them are formed to be adversely tapered downward. Accordingly, as the dry cell 4 moves downward along the gap between vertical- type rolls 7(1), 7(2), a rotary squeezing pressure is increasingly applied to the dry cell causing its gradual deformation and eventually instantaneous disintegration at an upward constriction part between rolls 7(1), 7(2), while releasing a metal cap from an expanded exterior metal cylindrical plate and dropping contents such as carbon rod, zinc can and graphite through it.</p> |
