A heat sensitizing agent or an enzyme, e.g. papain, may be added to the latex before gelling. The latex may be passed through pipes surrounded by a heat transfer fluid, or through cut-out sections of two metal plates, held together by mechanical means, which are heated by electrical heating elements and constitute the heating medium.</p> |
