The squeegee (2) for a screen print machine has a holder (3, 5) supported at one side of the screen. The holder comprises a rod (3) extending across the screen and urged toward the screen (15) by a magnet (9) situated at the other side of the screen. The holder further comprises a mounting (5) which is supported on fixed structure for movement relative to the screen under the action of the magnet. The rod may be tubular and may have a snap connection with the mounting. The squeegee itself is a blade and may be gripped between the mounting and the rod.
