Trainer for improving sense of balance - has rigid disc freely supported on coil springs underneath to support user during exercises

The training appts. is used for improving the sense of balance and comprises a flat rigid base (1) of plywood or similar material. This supports an upper rigid disc (2) by coil springs (3, 4, 5, 6) disposed around the circumference and between both discs. The upper end of each spring is fixed rigidly to the undersurface of the upper disc. The lower ends of the springs are held over pegs (13, 15), these latter being pushed into holes in the base. The user stands on the freely supported upper disc and carries out suitable exercises, pref. whilst standing on one leg.
