1345318 Bis-sulphenamides RHONEPOULENC SA 5 July 1972 [7 July 1971] 31548/72 Heading C2C [Also in Division C3] The invention comprises compounds of the formula (RS) 2 N-R1, wherein each R represents a monovalent hydrocarbon radical containing no olefinic unsaturation, and R1 is a monovalent hydrocarbon radical. They may be obtained by reacting an amine of formula R1NH 2 with a chlorosulphide of formula RSCl in the presence of an acid acceptor. Examples are given for the production of N,N-bis-(phenylthio) - cyclohexylamine and N,N - bis - (phenylthio)-methylamine. They are useful as prevulcanization inhibitors.
