<p>The dispensing reel for strip material has an expanding mandrel, whose segments are actuated by a pull rod. The coil of material is secured between a pair of flanges (11, 17) on the mandrel (2), the pull rod (12) being coupled to one of them (17). The other flange (11) acts as an abutment, absorbing the clamping force exerted by the rod on the first one. There can be a clamping plate (16) at the free end (13) of the rod, against which the outside of the first flange bears. The second one can be spring-mounted. On the outside of the second flange (11) there can be a supporting disc (4) located axially on the reel shaft (1), and with apertures for spring guide pins (8) on the second flange.</p> |
