Envelope back manufacture for lines envelopes starts from a web whose one rim is defined by a weak line as break line (18, 19) lengthways and whose other rim has holes (16, 17) thus together forming connected front surfaces between the two rims. The larger part of each surface forms front and flap which is parted from this by a crosswise potential fold line and thus forms a transverse rim of the envelope when parted from the web. The second transverse rim is formed from the front, and the transverse rim of the flap part lies spaced from the transverse front rim of an adjoining envelope. Each flap and front is flued crossways so that the strip on the flap adjoins one transverse rim and the strip (24) on the front adjoins the other cross rim. |
