Hollow insulated building block - has insulating layer of rigid foam plastics mounted on inner wall with block acting as formwork for poured concrete

The double walled insulated building block has two parallel walls between which is poured concrete and the block acts as formwork. The insulation layer is held firmly on a wall of this formwork block and it cannot fall out or slip if the block end is uncovered. The insulating layer (5) is a rigid foam plastics layer foamed within the block and uniformly and firmly connected to block wall (1). This insulation layer (5) can be made from rigid foam plastics with high thermal insulation characteristics. This building block can be made from wood fibres as basic material or alternatively from concrete with wood chips.
