Switching network for telephone exchange - has path hunter incorporated to make modular system

The switching network, is used in a telephone exchange. It is incorporated with a path hunter into a modular system. The outputs (AW) of the OR-gate units are connected to the appropriate control inputs of several selectors (EAW). Some of the selectors are decentralised. Each selector applies an 'engaged' potential to the outputs of the OR-gate units that it has not selected and thereby allows the other selectors to choose the output that it has selected.
