In order to secure hexagon socket screws both against twisting and against the, possibly fractured, screw head falling out, there is provided a securing metal sheet (4) which comprises at least one laterally projecting lug (5) which can be pushed into a lateral cutout (7) made in the vertical bore (1) and level with the screwhead (2). The central flexible part (6) of the securing metal sheet can be bent into the hexagon socket (3) by means of a ram. <IMAGE>
