The dust protection system for the cab of a combined harvester has an air feed cap, within which is a bonnet, with a blower. Vertical air holes pass into the space between bonnet and cap while the bonnet has air inlet holes in the centre of its base. These holes pass from the space between the bonnet and the cap to the space where the driver's head is located in the cab. The top part of the cap is hinged to a support connected to the grain tank of the harvester. The cap can pivot about a vertical shaft so that it can swivel between a use position and an out-of-use position.
