<p>Equipment for handling and esp. drying a running band from a flexible material by means of gas jets directed against the band. The gas jets may influence the position of the material band in such a way that it is held partly or completely in suspension. Equipment is also provided for guiding sidewards the material band. The blow bridges acting on the material band at each side of the centre line may be altered in direction of a relative strengthening of the material band, moving on the material band half positioned opposite running out edge of the band. Equipment is provided for stowing gas streaming off the material band side opposite the running out edge of the band and a further flap provides relatively intensifying of the gas jets on the side of the material band opposite the running out edge of the band.</p> |
