The firing pin holder is used in mechanically operated fuses with cylindrical trigger out part. These fuses are used especially for ignition of fuse cords and delay charges. This firing pin holder can be used also for other igniter types. The firing pin holder is made preferably from plastics or metal. A blocking end of the firing pin holder ring (1) projects through an opening into a groove at the firing pin end. The firing pin is released only after the releasing travel of ring end has been covered. The firing pin holder ring can be made from wire, profiles or sheet metal.
