PURPOSE: To realize the economical receiver by distributing a wavelength received through a common channel to a plurality of separated channels leading to different optoelectronic detectors. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of wavelength bands λ1 , λ2 ,... λn are inputted to a common channel 1. The wavelength bands λ1 , λ2 ,..., λn are distributed to a plurality of separate channels 71, 72,..., 7n leading to different optoelectronic detectors 41, 42,..., 4n at a wavelength demultiplexer 3 integrated on a substrate 10. Then they are outputted to detectors through output terminals 61, 62,..., 6n via impedance transformers and amplifiers 51, 52,..., 5n. Thus, the waveguide type wavelength demultiplexer integrated on the substrate is used to distribute the inputted wavelength bands to different channels so as to obtain the receiver with an excellent characteristic and excellent economy. |
