The fishing reel is fixed to the fishing rod and consists of a spool (11) pivot mounted in a spool holder (13) with a rotational axis roughly crosswise to the axis of the rod. Two side plates have a hub between them on which one piece of the fishing line (12) is wound. The width between the side plates is less than one and a half times the external diameter. A winding equalising mechanism (15) is fixed to the spool holder (13) and has a line guide (16) for evenly controlling the winding of the line onto the spool (11). The line guide (16) of the winding equalising mechanism (15) has a circular hole (16a) with non-frictional inner surface, made of aluminium oxide. |
