The whitened cuprous iodide is used as an electroconductive layer which together with a colour forming material and a binder on a support, comprises an electrosensitive recording sheet. The alkaline material may be a carbonate or acetate of alkali metal, alkaline earth metal or ammonia, carboxylate of alkali metal or ammonia, silicate of alkali metal or hydroxide of ammonia or a metal. |
