Cyclohexanone oxime is obtained by circulating an acidic, buffered, aqueous reaction medium between a hydroxylammonium salt synthesis zone and a cyclohexanone oxime synthesis zone. After the circulated liquid is removed from the cyclohexanone oxime synthesis zone, but before it enters the hydroxylammonium salt synthesis zone, it is heated partially and/or regularly in contact with nitrous gases at a temperature of at least 120 DEG C under a pressure of more than 1 at abs. The reaction medium contains an ammonium salt as buffer salt. The hydroxylammonium ions are formed in the synthesis zone in question by catalytic reduction of nitrate ions, while the cyclohexanone oxime is formed in the synthesis zone in question by reacting the above hydroxylammonium ions with cyclohexanone.
|
