<p>The device has a suction cap (8) which is displaceable in the axial direction of the tool (2) of the device, counter to the action of a spring (8a), on a holding bar (7) and the suction trough of which is arranged on one side of the tool (2) and continuously deepens towards the connection point to the suction hose (16), and also a plate-shaped conveying trough (17) which is arranged essentially concentrically to the conveying wheel (21). The suction trough is deepest in the region of the connection point with the suction hose (16) and rises constantly as far as its edge delimited by a contact point. The conveying wheel (21) has, on the side of the conveying trough, a blade rim (22) which connects its blade and delimits an outwardly enlarging channel in the conveying wheel.
