This invention relates to a power gate and lift means which is mountable on a conventional truck bed and operable to provide (1) a power gate means which is movable under hydraulic pressure from the closed to opened condition in order to readily empty grain and the like therefrom; and (2) a lift means mounted on the tail gate area of the truck bed operable under hydraulic pressure to raise and lower a lift member for loading and unloading various articles thereon. More particularly, this invention relates to a power gate means movable in an efficient manner from the locked to the unlocked and elevated condition for speed in unloading and a power lift means operable with various lift means in order to load drums, cattle, sheep, and the like on the truck bed in a most efficient and effective manner.
