Substituted azabicycloalkanes of the formula I (CH2)n ANGLE CH-R2 (I) N ¦ CO-S-R wherein R represents an alkyl radical which contains 2 or 3 carbon atoms and is substituted by chlorine or a straight-chain or branched alkenyl radical containing 3 or 4 carbon atoms, R1 and R2 represent hydrogen or the one represents methyl and the other represents hydrogen, and n is the number 1 or 2, may be used for influencing the growth of plants, preferably for combating weeds in rice-cultures.
