<p>The grinding mechanism allows the production of bores, with an electro-erosion tool, in all angular and horizontal positions without having to change the position of the workpiece. It comprises two frames (3, 6) mounted one above the other and an electrically insulated base (1). One frame pivots about an horizontal axis (7) whilst the other pivots about a vertical axis (4) the angles marked off on graduated sectors. The horizontally pivoting frame carries an interchangeable electrode holder (10) attached to a sliding bar which can either be operated by an inclined cam connected to the spindle of the machine or by a pair of hydraulic cylinders also connected to the machine.</p> |
