Insulated cladding with structural walls of impermeable sheet - for simpler construction than inclusion of independent impermeable films

Cladding previously claimed for lining and/or coffer walls etc. and previously described as a combination of structural sheet, insulating material and impermeable film is qualified bythe addn. to include composite cladding where the structural sheets are also the impermeable component. The sheet is of rigid or flexible material e.g. polyethylene or PVC, calendered, extruded or shaped by rotational moulding and opt. incorporating magnetic fillers or inserts. The insulating filler is of vermiculite, perlite, or of phenolic, polyurethane or polystyrene foam. The sheet may be covered with a fibrous material for enhanced bonding to a supporting structure by adhesives.
