<p>The industrial curtain walling, which is insulated and incombustible, comprises a vertical support plate (1) consisting of galvanised steel panels made frm superposed and clamped horizontal elements which present a plane or slightly ribbed face backed by horizontal ribs (4). The space between the ribs and the panels is fitted by thermal and acoustic insulation material (8). The panels are fixed to structural supports (2) by screws or bolts (3). The ribs have vertical slings (6) made from galvanised steel strip which support the exterior facing (9) made from plates of undulated or ribbed asbestos cement which can be coloured if required. The facing is not subject to any load except that of its own weight.</p> |
