The unit is used for collecting the dush resulting from grinding and similar operations and comprises a large cubicle provided with a projecting hood. This has one side enclosed and a trolley carries the work up to a stop controlling the grinding tool supply. The grinding dust is drawn into the unit housing by a fan and the large particles are directed into a water tank for later removal. This water is filtered and projected by a pump and a spray bar to the trap the finer dust particles. The water is returned into the tank for settling and recycling.
