A pneumatic tool particulary equipped with means for dispensing glue and for driving dowels into holes, has a cover for the opening of the release mechanism. This opening (76) is connected via a throttle (77) to a portion of a compressed-air passage (84) in the tool, and release is effected by manual closing of the opening. There can be a control slide valve at the outlet, initiating operations on closure of the opening, which can be situated in the handle (1). The tool can be so designed that the opening must be uncovered again in order to reset it. All operations can be arranged to occur at preset time intervals after release, and thus are unaffected by external action. |
