The vapour extractor hood for kitchen hobs has a ventilator (74) controlled in dependence on the differences in temp. which occurs in the area of the hood (71). Two thermometers (29, 30) are mounted in this area so that one (30) lies in the area of the rising cooking fumes whilst the other (29) acts as a control and is mounted in an area which is for the most part unaffected by these fumes. Since the vapour fumes have a higher temp. than the ambient air the speed of rotation of the ventilator is infinitely adjusted so that it acts precisely in accordance with the vapours to be extracted. The difference in temp. sufficient to start the ventilator pref. lies below 0.1 deg.C.
|
