<p>The foundation pile driving system consists in delivering water into the interior of a hollow steel pile. From this the water escapes through a number of apertures in the otherwise closed bottom end of the vertical pile, washing the earth away with a rotary movement, having a spiral supporting blade (3) round the lower end inducing this movement. Water can be delivered by a pump, connected by a hose to the open pile top, at a pressure of roughly 60 atmos., and after placing in position the pile can be filled with sand and cement.</p> |
