PURPOSE:To enable connection at a narrow spot so easily by constituting a first pipeline with a clamping means to finish connection to a insert seal and another means holding a second pipeline shiftably as doing the insert seal. CONSTITUTION:A seal ring member 51 being pressed to an outer circumferential surface of a first pipeline P1 is installed in one end of a joint body 1 with an interconnecting hole 4. In addition, a socket member 2 with an elastic claw wall 21 part capable of engaging, under pressure, with an annular bulged wall P1' toward the outside of a connecting end of the first pipeline P1, is attached thereto. After a second pipeline P2 with an annular flange P2' at the connecting end is assembled in another end of the joint body 1, the other end is caulked, holding another seal ring member 52. Then, the second pipeline P2 is made shiftable as far as a specified distance in the axial center direction. Consequently, it is easily connectible by inserting the joint body thereinto, while a dimensional error in the longitudinal direction can be absorbed. |
