PURPOSE:To provide a polyolefin molded product having a small thermal expansion coefficient and excellent mechanical properties and moldability by homogeneously dispersing a liquid crystal polymer in a polyolefin in the shape of fibrils. CONSTITUTION:(A) 60-97wt.% of a polyolefin preferably having a weight-average mol.wt. of 10000-500000, (B) 40-3wt.%, preferably 30-5wt.%, of a polymer exhibiting an anisotropic melted shape such as a copolymer of polyethylene terephthalate with p-hydroxybenzoic acid or a copolymer of p-hydroxybenzoic acid with 6-hydroxy-2-naphthoic acid and, if necessary, a polyarylate, etc., are compounded with each other and molded by a means for accelerating the fibrillation of the component B and for improving the orientation of the component B to provide the molded product wherein the component B is dispersed in the component A in a fibril state having an average diameter of <=20mum and an average length/diameter ratio of >=10, preferably >=100. |
