<p>The sprung circuit breaker has a framework with the contacting points mutually opposed to be connected electrically using swung plates via control arrangements acting to put the plates into the close and open positions and is supplied with shunt current during the switching operation time. Spark extinction is provided by a mechanism having the control housing ratchet geared on the framework base. The control itself is operated by a lever perpendicular to the axis of the connecting plates and in such a manner that the pressure on the gate providing the extinction is built up to be released rapidly at the contactors operation.</p> |
