<p>A method is provided for packaging fiber glass strand in large shippable containers directly from forming which involves attenuating the strands at high speed, applying a binder to the strand, drying the strand to remove the moisture from the strand picked up in the binder application step, rewetting the strand and collecting it in a container which is subsequently dried. Good strand runout is readily achieved.</p> |
