Distribution board arrangement for telecommunications exchanges partic. telephone dialling systems is arranged to allow connection of external lines additional to those that are made via the breaking or connecting-in plug. The connections made to the distribution mechanics, including the additional ones, are made variable i.e. individually connectable and disconnectable. The electrical component to be connected is designed as a plug with plug contact surfaces for the brush springs. The plug contact surfaces are insertable directly between the contact studs and a cross-limb, is provided between the two brush springs on the side facing away from the plug, and the plug tongue-pieces of the breaking or connecting-in plug and/or the cross-limb are provided with run-on shoulders by means of which the tongue-pieces are supported against the cross-limbs, and the brush springs are lifted up by the contact surfaces of the plug as it is inserted.
