Non-driven wheel hub with hydraulic retarder - is exchangeable unit and has fixed part carried by axle

The wheel hub contains a hydraulic retarder (4). The rotating part (5) is connected by the shaft (6) and the sun wheel (7) with the planet wheel (8). The planet wheel axle is carried by the wheel hub. The fixed (9) part of the retarder is firmly anchored to the brake back plate (2) and carried by the stub axle (10). The brake is suitable for non driven wheels and all suspension types. The hub can be fitted to existing axles and carries conventional wheel fitting studs. The hub is an exchangeable unit and is served independent from the axle.
