<p>The cardboard packaging is intended for plates and dishes or analogous items in order that they can be seen and sold in a single block. The packaging, made from a precut cardboard blank, has a rectangular cross-section, with an open top, a closed bottom, a front and back wall (11, 12). Two lateral walls (13, 14) are provide dat the top with retaining flaps (23, 24) which are folded to produce an acute angle and abut onto the circumference of the plates.
