<p>The distance pieces (14) are used to connect discs in a clutch in between which a drive disc is mounted. The drive disc is connected to the coupling discs by means of coil springs which act as dampers. The distance pieces are of right angular section and are placed so that they lie tangential to a pitch circle diameter. The riveting is carried out by means of rollers (39) which are mounted on discs (30, 44) in such a way that the centre lines of the rollers are placed at right angles to the centrelines of the coupling discs. The rollers are pressed against the ends of the distance pieces. All distance pieces can be riveted in position in one operation.</p> |
