A hollow cylinder is suspended by means of two V-belts (6) on a frame (1). The two transverse supports (2) are attached to this frame at different heights. The cylinder therefore hangs in an inclined position. The rolls (8) which form the case of the cylinder are each mounted in an annular groove in the lateral rings (7). The hollow cylinder is driven via one V-belt by an electric motor (3). A further belt (9) which is fastened to the frame at both ends bears closely against all rolls. An opposite rotation of the rolls is therefore superimposed on the rotation of the hollow cylinder. The device functions as follows: parts of different size are detached from one another in the rotating hollow cylinder by the rolls which rotate in the opposite direction and are distributed. In the process, the smaller parts fall through the opening slits between the rolls onto the chute (12). The larger parts, on the other hand, slide through the cylinder into a container. <IMAGE>
