Staircase tread lining plast has a thin portion covering the tread section and having a thickness <=10 mm, the portion being attached integrally to a bead portion which has at least twice the thickness of the portion. Plate is made synthetic concrete, esp. a methacrylate polymer.Pref. the bead portion has a groove in which is located a light metal rail supporting a plastics inserts. Alternatively. A pair of rails and inserts prevents slipping on the tread. |
