The packing machine, which assures the closure of boxes with folding flaps containing an interior sack filled with a granular of pulverised prod., consists of a press (12) held by parallel arms (14) to a support and operated by a hydraulic jack (15) which produces both a vertical and horizontal movement. The press bears down on the interior sack and produces a flat surface, which does not project over the top of the box, with two flaps (17) which are then folded over with the lateral flaps (7', 8') of the box. The box flap sare folded over by mechanical arms and the box is then passed to a bonding or glueing machine.
