<p>The battery-operated alarm clock employs a monolithic integrated circuit comprising a self-oscillating tone generator, several frequency divider stages and a logic circuit for supplying an internal signal to the tone generator. The alarm signal can be interrupted for a minute by actuation of a repeat button coupled between earth and one terminal of the monolithic circuit. A light element is connected between the repeat button and the supply battery and a diode is connected between the repeat button and the base of a transistor used to interrupt the alarm.</p> |
