<p>The bowling game uses non-round bowls (1), and is for use indoors and outdoors. The circular central section of the bowl is joined to two smaller-diameter hemispherical portions by two truncated-cone sections, so that it rolls regularly or irregularly depending on how cast by the player. The bowls can be oval, elliptical, avoid, parabolic conical, polygonal etc., and there can be separate faces over all or part of the bowl. The body can be of solid steel, wood, alloy, brass, plastic, resin etc., or hollow, having merely a casing of any of these materials, with a core of water or any other liquid or solid, the latter removed again after use.</p> |
