The hose cross section has approximately a spiral form. The ends of the spirals are connected by an expansible longitudinal cross piece which is closed in the pressure-less state of the hose and runs radially. With increasing internal pressure, it is bent in the direction of a peripheral position. At longitudinal spacings in the cross-piece there are outlet channels with a middle region, whose cross section reduces an increase in the internal pressure. There is a selectably connectable compressd air connection for periodically cleaning the hose system while a wetness meter regulates the intensity of watering.
