<p>A device to fix sheets of plastic or tissue as the side walls of greenhouses facilitates the clamping operation. It is easy to apply and disengage, yet withstands even strong wind pressure. A galvanized metal section (10) has a trapezoidal shape (11, 12) and is attached by bolts (14) to the greenhouse frame. A plastic extrusion, preferably PVC, clamps the foil (17) by its bulbous end. This end has a circular cavity and is introduced by bending its two flanges together. The clamping action is intensified by inserting a lock cord (30), pref. made of nylon. This snaps into place after it has been pressed past the narrower neck (29), as shown in dotted lines.</p> |
