<p>Elongate linked filled casing is fed from the first end to the second end of a guide which is mounted on a support for pivotal movement as the casing passes thereover so that the casing is looped over successive casing supports on a conveyor passing adjacent the second end of the guide. The reciprocal movement of the guide and the speed of the conveyor are regulated so that the conveyor catches the casing at predetermined spaced points along the casing. Appts. is specif. claimed for use as sausage or frankfurter manufacturing machine. The machine which can be adjusted to form loops of predetermined length, does not damage the encased product, is economical in mfr., and durable in use.</p> |
