Securing strips for tailoring outer garments - with bondable synthetic layer on synthetic carrier, giving stable shape to seams

A securing strip, for ensuring the stability of the shape of the edges of pts. of outer garments during making up, consists of a strip of synthetic material coated on 1 side with a bondable synthetic. Use of the strips prevents deformation of parts of the garment during hand or machine seaming or during ironing. If the strip is used in the shoulder seam of a garment it serves also as a shoulder pad.
