In electromagnetic switch comprises a magnet built with a stack of E shaped leaves (12) around which a coil (14) is wound. The magnet is then secured in its operational housing by a resilient blade (16). The resilient blade (16) is stirrup shaped and has integrally forced in its extremities hook shaped members. These members fit over correspondingly shaped lugs (23, 24) on flanges (19, 25) integral with the housing (10).
