<p>The "flying saucer' propulsion system comprises a generator, pref. driven by a differential power prime mover (3) producing electrical energy for roc rocket (5, 6). All are carried in a circular plane casing (4). The generator rotor (1) is so constructed that it stabilises the craft gyroscopically. Of the ion rockets some (6) provide propulsion thrust, others (5) prevent the casing turning with the generator rotor. Condensers (9) provide high energy discharges for defence/offence. High power searchlights may be installed between thrust rockets to permit propulsion in space by light energy. Satellite craft are carried, with a better power-weight ratio than the parent, to permit operation in gravitational fields more powerful than the earth's.</p> |
