The lighting unit comprises a light source and a shade producing a luminous geometrical pattern on its surface from the rays. The shade is composed of a number of diffusers in the form of plates (20-23), while a large number of prisms are formed by conical bodies in one piece and alongside each other, forming a mosaic pattern on the diffuser surface, from which they protrude. The tips of the conical bodies and the recesses formed between them are suitably radiused. There can be a number of such units arranged in a line at regular intervals, with a shade parallel to them and forming luminous geometrical patterns on the parts opposite the light sources. |
